“The collection, presented in Rome in July 2015, was thought by myself and Maria Grazia Chiuri as a tribute to the city of Rome and its connection with Valentino. The name is inspired by Mirabilia Urbis Romae, the real travel guides for pilgrims to visit the city. Our idea was to tell our guests a different Rome than usual, not the tourist one. And the parade did just that: he recounted our city in a personal and innovative way. Next to the parade, we thought of a widespread show that highlighted the creative and productive process of the collection, always approaching the beauties of Rome. It was a journey, divided into ten stages, through the places of Valentino’s heart. “
